Tim Scott Continues To Demean Himself For Trump's VP Spot

Sen. Tim Scott continues to give Elise Stefanik a run for her money as the biggest Trump suck-up auditioning for the position of his vice president. Here’s Scott during an appearance on Sean Hannity’s show this week on Fox, demeaning himself by heaping praise on unqualified grifter Trump daughter-in-law Lara Trump, who is now helping run the RNC into the ground and turn it into one big slush fund for Trump, and telling Hannity how “brilliant” she is.

It was stomach churning to listen to this man lose every bit of dignity he may have once had with this much ass kissing to try to get a job where Trump tried to have the last guy who held it killed. Here’s more from Mediaite on the exchange:

After being asked by Sean Hannity if Republicans were organizationally prepared for the 2024 election — a concern raised by former RNC chairman Reince Priebus — Scott launched into an obsequious rant about the virtues of the GOP standard bearer and his kin.

“Well, let me tell you what: If there’s anyone paying attention to the details in 2024, it’s Donald Trump. Who is now running, co-running the RNC? Lara Trump. Why? Because he understands that the devil’s in the details, so he puts his brilliant daughter-in-law in charge of our RNC apparatus so that all that Reince talked about, wise, wise man he is, will be taken care of,” argued Scott. “We’re going to focus on getting the vote out early, often, mail-in.”

“Whatever it takes, we will match fire with fire. But at the end of the day, you want the ball in the hands of the best player on the field. That player is Donald Trump,” he concluded. “I can guarantee you we will win because we’re coming together.”

As they noted, “Lara Trump has no political experience beyond working on her father-in-law’s previous presidential campaigns. She was elevated to her current post as co-chair of the RNC at the behest of the former president amid debate over whether the organization should continue to provide funds for Trump’s personal legal defense.”

I’m pretty sure the “debate” followed the fact that she just straight up said that’s what they were going to do. There’s been some tepid push back, but they voted down a resolution to actually stop it.

I guess we’ll see how “brilliant” she turns out to be if she bankrupts them in the end.
