On a stormy night in New York City, a mysterious egg crashes into a rundown apartment and hatches a strange spider. Charlotte, a 12-year-old girl obsessed with comics, discovers the creature and names it Sting. As her fascination grows, so does Sting’s size and appetite for blood. Pets and neighbors begin to disappear, leaving Charlotte’s family and the apartment residents trapped and hunted by a gigantic, bloodthirsty spider. Charlotte is the only one who knows how to stop the monstrous arachnid.
