Kosé Corp. Gains Pañpuri Thai Beauty Brand

Kosé Corporation (Beauty Packaging’s No. 20 Top Company of 2024) has acquired the niche Thai beauty, fragrance, and wellness brand, Pañpuri.

Kosé Corporation President and CEO Kazutoshi Kobayashi commented,

“We believe that Pañpuri’s traditional approach from ancient times in Thailand and sophisticated product design, which creates cosmetics that feel good to use and enrich the mind on top of being effective, highly align with our constant approach since our establishment to continually pursue sensory quality while inheriting tradition and innovation.”

This acquisition supports Kosé’s mid-to-long-term strategy to diversify its portfolio with “regionally rooted brands.” Kosé hopes to establish a presence in the Global South markets and further enhance our value.

Pañpuri was founded in 2003 in Bangkok by Vorravit Siripark, specializing in fragrances and wellness products inspired by Thai heritage.

The brand is preparing to launch new fragrances, body care, skincare, home fragrances, and spa experience products that are made from “clean” and sustainable formulas.

CEO Siripark said,

“This partnership with Kosé Corporation marks a transformative milestone for Pañpuri. This collaboration allows us to preserve our heritage while embracing a future of growth, innovation, and shared passion for creating meaningful beauty experiences.”

This transaction includes 1,062,702 shares and should close on December 30. The rest of the shares are expected to be acquired in the upcoming three to five years.

Pañpuri was previously owned by private equity firm Lakeshore Capital, as well as Siripark and his family.
