Driver Rescued After Car Plunges Off Arlington Memorial Bridge Into Icy Potomac


Emergency services personnel pulled a person from a car that plunged off Washington’s Arlington Memorial Bridge into an icy Potomac River on January 16.

The person was treated for critical life-threatening injuries, the DC Fire and EMS Department said.

The vehicle came off the bridge after a collision. Two other people involved in the collision were treated for minor injuries.
