Fans of Disney theme parks have been worrying that there won’t be a way to watch the upcoming D23 Horizons event live. Well, there is, but you’ll have to do it inside Fortnite … and it’ll just be for announcements related to the game.
Disney Horizons Live from D23 is happening on August 10 during the Disney fan convention. This will reveal projects for the company’s “Experiences” divisions, meaning its theme parks and other similar ventures, like its cruise ships.

Earlier this year, Disney invested a massive $1.5 billion in Fortnite developer Epic Games. This was to create some kind of virtual Disney universe. If this means a kind of virtual theme park, it could fall under the Disney Experiences division.
