(FOX40.COM) — The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District is responding to a three-vehicle crash that left a car in flames.
Around 7 a.m. on Saturday, crews responded to an area along Eagles Nest Road and Florin Road for reports of a crash. Of the three vehicles involved, firefighters said one of them caught on fire but the flames were extinguished.

Photos from the wreckage show an overturned vehicle with severe damage. Additional images show two totaled vehicles and burned-up car parts spread throughout the roadway.
Three patients were transported to the hospital in an unknown condition. One person was stuck in a vehicle and was extricated by Metro Fire.
