'Biggest Fight We've Had in a While': Deputies Wrangle Gator Outside High School

Deputies expertly wrangled an alligator that was found outside a high school in Parrish, Florida, on April 22.

Bodycam footage released by the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office shows several deputies outside the Parrish Community High School using a rope to eventually tie the gator’s snout, before putting it in the back of a truck.

“Ya’ll make this look like you do this on the regular,” a person can be heard telling the deputies. “We do,” one of them responds.

The gator was “safely relocated to a more suitable environment, far from the classroom,” the sheriff’s office said. Credit: Manatee County Sheriff’s Office via Storyful
