On Wednesday, storm formation is expected to stay to the north of the area. The SPC has only painted a marginal risk for our northern counties on Friday. But it’s Saturday that all of Southeast Texas has a chance for storms to form and pulse up to severe limits. The SPC has our eastern counties with a marginal risk on Saturday, but the majority of the area is under a “slight risk” (level two of five), and our eastern counties are under an “enhanced risk” (level three of five). The threat includes storms that could bring large hail, damaging winds, and even tornadoes.
